St. Ada Stained Glass

St. Ada was born in France in the seventh century. She belonged to a pious and devout family, and her uncle was St. Englebert. St. Ada was a dedicated virgin who worked as a nun at Soissons. Later she became the abbess at Saint-Julien de Pres Abbey in Le Mans, France. She is recognized as the patron saint of all religious women and nuns, and her feast day is commemorated on December 4th.
